Old Cottonians' Golf Tournament 2025

• Participants need to be golfers with a valid handicap from an IGU/recognised golf club and with a valid WHS handicap for the month of June 2025. Please bring your valid handicap certificate and Handicap Index. Players should play as per Local Rules of BGC.

• Players with a WHS Handicap Index will be allowed to convert to the BGC Course Handicap from the conversion table at the starter. Players without a WHS Handicap Index but with a Home Course Handicap will have to play off their Home Course Handicap off the Club (Blue) tees for Men and (Red) tees for Women. 

• The format of play will be the Stable ford points system with a shotgun start.

• Categories of prizes: Total 8 Prizes

  • Open Category : Winner and Runner-up

  • Handicap  0 to 12: Winner and Runner-up

  • Handicap 13 to 24 : Winner and Runner-up.

  • Senior Category : 60+ Age group Winner and Runner-up

Note:

* Players with BGC Course Handicap above 24 will have to play in the 13 to 24 Category.

* Players are eligible for only one prize.

• The decision of the tournament committee is final on all tournament related issues.

• The draws will be published on 22nd June 2025. 

• The tournament will be followed by fellowship dinner, prize distribution, Sponsor engagement and the special banter of the good old days and which house was best.
